Dr Mark Adamski
Rural Generalist
Dr Mark Adamski is a highly experienced Rural Generalist who is excited to be joining Nurse Practitioner Skye Bradford, Gulgong Medical Centre, and the team at Gulgong Hospital in caring for the local community.
Originally from Sydney and a graduate of the University of NSW, Dr Adamski has more than 20 years’ experience working across rural and regional NSW, including over a decade in Cowra. Most recently, he has been supporting communities through the Virtual Rural Generalist Service, helping address doctor shortages across Western NSW.
After spending time working in Gulgong, Dr Adamski was drawn to the town’s strong sense of community and has now returned to the Central West with his wife, Helen. He is looking forward to getting to know patients and enjoying life in Gulgong.
Dr Luke Talbot
General Practitioner
Dr Luke Talbot is an experienced General Practitioner joining Gulgong Medical Centre in November.
He has a strong background in both general practice and emergency medicine and is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centred care to rural communities.
After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2010 and moving to Australia in 2012, Dr Talbot developed a keen interest in rural and remote medicine.
His areas of focus include preventative health, chronic disease management, and emergency care, supporting patients at all stages of life.
Skye Braford
Nurse Practitoner
Skye Bradford is an experienced Nurse Practitioner providing bulk billed private nursing services to Gulgong and surrounding communities. She specialises in care coordination, chronic and complex care, post-hospital support, and aged care navigation, as well as a range of clinical services. Home visits available.
Bernice Woods
Practice Nurse
Bernice has been employed at GMC since 2018, having retired as Nurse Manager at the Gulgong MPS she brings with her 40 years of nursing experience, she is a highly respected amongst her colleagues and with our patients. She works on a casual basis and can be found in the clinic room on a Wednesday and Thursday.
Stephanie Barrett
Practice Nurse
Stephanie has been employed in the clinic for two years. She is an experienced RN and can be found in the clinic treatment room on Monday and Tuesday. Stephanie remains an active RN in the MPS and within the Community health team which often assists our patient with continuity of care.
Julianne Furney
Practice Nurse
Julianne joined the GMC team in 2020, she is currently responsible for managing our health assessments within Wenonah lodge and the MPS for residential aged care residents. Julianne works between the surgery and the MPS and has lived in Gulgong for the past 20 years.
Kelly Hackney
Receptionist
Kelly Joined our team in 2021, she is one of our smiling faces that will meet you in the reception area. She works part time in the clinic and is fast becoming an active member of the GMC team.

Kimberly Mcdonell
Receptionist
Kim joined our practice in 2021 and is another friendly smiling face you will find in our reception. Kim is currently working part time and brings with her local knowledge of our patients having grown up locally.
